Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton will spend a bit more time in the Prison Realm as it will miss its 2026 release window

No one enjoys a delay, but publisher Shueisha Games and developer poncle are offering an olive branch…to a select portion of the audience. Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton, which is the Vampire Saviors-like developed by creators of Vampire Saviors featuring Gege Akutami’s IP was slated for a 2026 release window, but on the eve of Tokyo Game Show, the publisher revealed that the game will be pushed back to a 2027 window.

The game was set to merge the saviors gameplay of killing hordes of enemies while leveling up your character and gaining new powers with the Culling Game concept which was depicted in the popular manga. Garner points and use them to change the rules of the game, but make sure you score high enough that you are in the final showdown.

Shueisha Games’ reasoning for the delay was to “further improve the game and deliver the best possible experience to players.“. However they aren’t leaving fans high and dry as they released a brand new trailer which showcases some of the bosses you’ll encounter, such as Kenjaku and Naoya and they have announced the game will be playable…for attendees of Tokyo Game Show.

From Thursday 9/17/26 through Monday 9/21/26, industry and public attendees can queue up for a 8 person match which will conclude with a one vs one fight to declare a victor. Since the game is still in development, players will be urged to fill out a survey which hopefully will assist with development.

For the rest of us, save your cursed energy and get ready throw down when Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton comes to PC, Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 in 2027.
