While many were celebrating the end of Summer with Labor Day weekend, folks associated with Persona 4 Revival were working overtime as the game had a major presence at PAX West which took place during the holiday weekend. Attendees were amongst the first to try the game out in a public forum at the SEGA booth, members of the development team were present at the show to sign autographs and they also attended a panel that was moderated by the new voice actor of Chie Satonaka, Anne Yatco to discuss development of the title.
Aside from the insight shared by some members of the development team, we also learned that Daman Mills will be providing the English voice of Kanji Tatsumi. Mills is a veteran voice actor who has plenty of credits in both anime and games, some of which include Dragon Ball Z Super, Trigun Stampede, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, Steel Ball Run: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Genshin Impact, Persona 3 Reload and even played Yoshitaka Mine in sister studio RGG Studio’s Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties.
Back before some brunette flower girl was memed to be the master of the folding chair, Kanji was aiding the Inaba Investigation team with a collapsible sitting instrument. While he looks tough and unapproachable on the outside, once you’ve spent time with him you’ll realize never to judge a book by its cover.
For those who didn’t see the panel “ATLUS Presents: Persona 4 Revival Live“ when it took place this past weekend, fret not as SEGA/ATLUS has uploaded the entire panel to be viewed at your leisure. Learn more about the development of the remake for the title which help raise the profile of the Persona franchise abroad anytime you want!
Persona 4 Revival will launch on PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 on February 18th, 2027.
