Nintendo to offer new Switch 2 bundles just in time for that September 1st price increase

Hey wanna be Nintendo Switch 2 players, remember, Nintendo (like all the console companies) is about to raise the price of their hardware in the very near future.  As of September 1st, 2026 the standard Switch 2 console price will be bumped to $499.99 (a $50 increase), but Nintendo is at least prepared to offer some sort of bundles to maybe help offset that price adjustment.

In the upcoming months, there will be a pair of new Nintendo Switch 2 bundles: a Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle for $549.99 in late September, and then the Nintendo Switch 2 + Nintendo Switch Sports Resort Bundle for $529.99 on October 22nd (which coincides with the Nintendo Switch Sports Resort launch).

Both bundles will include a code for a digital version of the respective games, along with a 3-month Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership.

Either way, try to save a few $$ by picking a console up before the price increase on September 1st (like right here on Amazon), or look out for these bundles afterwards.

Power up your play with two exciting Nintendo Switch 2 bundles, arriving in the coming months and bringing even more fun to players! Gather friends and family together, whether in the same room1 or miles away2, for some high-energy races across a sprawling world, or 12 motion-control sports games as you pair Nintendo Switch 2 with either the Mario Kart World game or the upcoming Nintendo Switch Sports Resort game! The bundles also come with a 3-Month (90-Day) Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership.

Hit the ground racing starting in late September with the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle, featuring a Nintendo Switch 2 system, a code for a digital version of the Mario Kart World game and a 3-Month (90-Day) Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership for $549.99 – a savings of $37.984 compared to the suggested retail price when purchasing each item individually.

In Mario Kart World, you can speed around vast, interconnected environments or take your time exploring the open road. Whether you’re a longtime Mario Kart fan or a newcomer to the series, you’ll be able to easily get behind the wheel and enjoy the wild, fast-paced fun.

On Oct. 22, the newest entry in the Nintendo Switch Sports series, Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, launches exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2. On the same day, customers can purchase the Nintendo Switch 2 + Nintendo Switch Sports Resort Bundle – which includes a Nintendo Switch 2 system, a code for a digital version of the Nintendo Switch Sports Resort game and a 3-Month (90-Day) Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership – for the suggested retail price of $529.99, a savings of $27.984.

In Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, you’ll visit Wuhu Island, a sporting retreat that is home to all sorts of activities. Customize your own Sportsmate or Mii character and enjoy 12 different sports utilizing intuitive motion controls. Breeze your way through leisure sports like Prop Plane and Power Cruising, or start up some friendly competition in everything from Boxing and Archery to Bowling and Thumb Wrestling. You can even warm up before you play by skipping around in Jump Rope! There are so many ways to compete and have fun together on this island resort. Pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 + Nintendo Switch Sports Resort Bundle will be available soon on Nintendo Store, Nintendo eShop and participating retailers.

As previously announced, the suggested retail price of a standard Nintendo Switch 2 system will be $499.99 as of Sept. 1.
