I didn’t have Tides of Annihilation on my radar before Gamescom Opening Night…but they have my attention now. Arthurian legends, Stan…I mean Spectral Knights and epic action set pieces which includes a giant sword wielding cleaving a building in half…whoever worked on this story trailer really needs a promotion.
The game also made another major splash at Gamescom by announcing that they secured the services of Angela Sant’Albano to portray the game the game’s protagonist Gwendolyn…who seems quite the opposite of the character who helped bring Ms. Sant’Albano to prominence, Grace Ashcraft (Resident Evil: Requiem). Given the excellent performance from Ms. Sant’Albano in RE:R, it’s safe to say she will knock it out of the park as Tides of Annihilation’s leading lady.
For those who will be attending Gamescom, you can get hands on with the title at the developer’s booth located at Hall 6, Booth B-050 in Koelnmesse and you will be enjoying the demo on state of the art hardware!
Tides of Annihilation will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, no released window has been shared as of yet.
