Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 gets a brand-new trailer before its October 20th premiere

CD Project RED and Netflix’s Cyberpunk: Edgerunners was quite a well-done animated series, so we’re definitely hyped for season 2, which has been confirmed to premiere on October 20th, 2026!

The studio TRIGGER animated sequel series is looking fantastic and diverges from the first series by featuring new characters from Night City and an original new story.

CD PROJEKT RED has revealed a brand-new trailer for the highly anticipated anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, and revealed that the show will air on Netflix on October 20.

The newest trailer provides a short, action-packed taste of what to expect from the upcoming 10-episode standalone series, set in the world of Cyberpunk 2077. Created in collaboration between CD PROJEKT RED and legendary animation studio TRIGGER, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 features a fresh cast of characters, and follows their intertwining stories as they fight their own battles across Night City. The series tells a raw, human story of revenge and redemption, and these themes are thrust into focus in the latest trailer.

With the trailer, CD PROJEKT RED also revealed that viewers will be able to tune into Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, exclusively on Netflix, on October 20.
