One of the great things about modern conventions is that some of them aren’t willing to gatekeep their content to just the physical attendees (I’m giving San Diego Comic Con the side eye here!). So it was a nice surprise to hear that the Kingdom Hearts panel which is set to take place at the Disney-centric convention D23 will at least be livestream to the public free of charge on @KingdomHearts YouTube channel.
The panel dubbed DEEP DIVE into KINGDOM HEARTS panel will feature representatives from Disney/Pixar Games, Square Enix, Disney Character Voices International and voice actors Haley Joel Osment, David Gallagher (sporting an impressive salt and pepper beard, the youngest son in 7th Heaven he isn’t anymore!).. We’re expecting this panel to give attendees and viewers a behind the scenes look at the creation of this much anticipated title.
It should be noted that the panel will be available as a livestream only and will not be available as a VOD (Although I’m sure some intrepid channel will archive and harvest those post-panel views). So you better make sure you’re in a place with a good internet connection otherwise you’re just gonna have to read about what happened on this panel or watch some recap video…but where’s the fun in that?
DEEP DIVE into KINGDOM HEARTS will be taking place at the D23 Convention at the Blacklot Stage this Saturday August 15th, 2026 at 4:30pm PT/7:30pm ET. The stream will be available on the @Kingdom Hearts channel and unofficially at channels like @thegameawards. So if you’re a big Kingdom Hearts fan, clear your schedule Saturday and make sure you catch this stream for the next big entry in this beloved franchise.
Kingdom Hearts IV has been announced for PC and consoles with no release window revealed yet.
