Aigis, Yukiko and Makoto are your representatives in the NIKKE x Persona Collaboration!

With the crossover between Goddess of Victory: NIKKE and Atlus’ beloved Persona series set to kick off on August 13th, we knew it was only a matter of time before we found out who the participants would be on the Persona side. Well it seems we didn’t have to wait for the start of the event as we got a new trailer that offered this information.

Persona 3’s Aigis, Persona 4’s Yukiko Amagi and Persona 5’s Makoto Niijima (aka Phantom Thieves’ Queen) will find themselves transported and recruitable in the world of Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, where the trio will likely interact with a group of phantom thieves which consists of Phantom, Quincy, Miranda and of course, The Commander. 

As with all collaborations, we know the mysterious rapture known as Gatekeeper will be involved, but outside of the crossover story, this upcoming update will include the following.

• Three limited run recruitable characters in the form of Makoto Niijima, Yukiko Amagi and Aigis
• Alternate costumes for Makoto and Yukiko which can be acquired through gameplay as well as a premium pass
• Gacha costume for Phantom dubbed “Phantom: Saint Thief”
• A brand new collaboration story which promises to incorporate plot elements from the trio of Persona titles represented
• A Pac-Man-ish mini-game dubbed “Midnight Phantom Runner” which will offer rewards with consistent play.

Will you have your recruit tickets taken when these guest characters are made available or perhaps will you just focus on the new mainline content which will concurrently be released? Either way the latest update for Goddess of Victory: NIKKE will be available on August 13th!

Level Infinite and SHIFTUP today revealed full details of the intriguing crossover collaboration between the hit sci-fi action RPG GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE and Atlus’ acclaimed Persona franchise. Launching August 13, NIKKE players will be the first to experience this unique collaboration that spans a trio of modern Persona titles (Persona 3 Reload, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royal), highlighting the franchise’s official 30th-anniversary celebration this year.

The collaboration introduces beloved female characters from across three generations of the Persona series, each delivering distinct combat strengths, personalities, and style to the NIKKE battlefield:

• Queen (Makoto Niijima) | Persona 5 Royal: She’s the student council president at Shujin Academy and strategist for the Phantom Thieves of Hearts. She is calm, responsible, and proactive, but sometimes too earnest to compromise. A certain incident led to her Persona awakening, after which she became a member of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts.
• Yukiko Amagi | Persona 4 Golden: Yukiko is a member of the Investigation Team formed by a group of students from Yasogami High School, as well as a Persona user. As daughter to the manager of the renowned Amagi Inn, she is undergoing training as its next heir. Though quick-witted, she struggles a bit at reading the room and can come across as airheaded.
• Aigis | Persona 3 Reload: The seventh-generation Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapon developed by the Kirijo Group. As part of the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (SEES), she is an android capable of summoning a Persona. While she initially behaves like a machine, acting in an obedient and overly straightforward manner, she gradually comes to develop human emotions.

Other new features in the NIKKE x Persona Collaboration Update:

• Free & Pass Costumes: Unlockable and pass-exclusive alternate outfits will be available for Persona characters Makoto Niijima and Yukiko Amagi.
• Exclusive Gacha Costume: A featured costume for Phantom – Phantom [Concept: Thief] – will be available in the outfit gacha.
• The World and Style of Persona: This crossover event honors the deep lore of each of the respective groups across the Persona timeline:
  • The Phantom Thieves of Hearts (Persona 5 Royal): High school students operating in the shadows to reform “rotten adults” by infiltrating the Palace—an alternate world of the heart—to steal distorted desires at their source.
  • The Investigation Team (Persona 4 Golden): A team formed by students pursuing the truth behind a string of mysterious serial murders in the rural town of Yasoinaba by traveling through the world inside the TV.
  • SEES / Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (Persona 3 Reload): A chosen group of Persona users posing as a school club, dedicated to protecting humanity from the monsters known as Shadows that appear during the “Dark Hour.”
• MIDNIGHT PHANTOM RUNNER Mini Game: Dive into this fast-paced, running mini-game packed with thematic fun and rewards throughout the event period.
