Sonic returns to San Diego Comic Con as the Chaos Hunt continues!

Revealed during the Sonic the Hedgehog Birthday Stream which aired roughly a month ago, the Chaos Hunt has been tasking people to venture out into the real world to seek out the Chaos Emeralds, which will be used to power up Club Chaos hopefully in time to celebrate Sonic the Hedgehog’s 35th birthday.

So it’s quite fortuitous that the 4th Chaos Emerald has been sighted in San Diego just as San Diego Comic Con is taking place. SEGA is urging members of the Sonic Squad to come down and check out the situation!

On Saturday July 25th from 10:00am PST until 4:00pm, swing by the Gaslamp District and head to the parking lot at 538 Seventh Ave, San Diego, CA, 92101 (I assure it’s absolutely on the up and up!) where you can check out the Chaos Emerald, take photos and even meet Sonic and Tails! The first 250 visitors will be given prizes, so make sure if you want to take something home from this experience to make it to the location bright and early and one lucky winner will get to take home a Leblon Delienne Sonic the Hedgehog statue.

Fans can find the activation in the parking lot at Seventh and Island, about a ten-minute walk from the convention center.

Both Sonic and Tails will be available to hang out and take pictures with fans!

Additional Details

• The first 100 fans will receive a free Chaos Hunt shirt, and the first 250 fans will receive an exclusive Tails and Yellow Emerald enamel collectible pin.
• Fans will also be able to scan a QR code to collect the Emerald on their phones for a chance to win the grand prize of an all expenses paid trip to Club Chaos in October! Fans will also have a chance to win the exclusive San Diego prize – the Leblon Delienne Sonic Statue.
