The first half of 2026 saw Kim Jae Hoon, Nightmare Geese, Blue Mary, Wolfgang Krauser, Mr. Karate and Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star enter the fray. One would think the team would take some time to recover from this frantic release schedule, however on July 23rd the team will start a new season by releasing Rick Strowd. Strowd is a Native American Boxer who debuted in 1998’s Real Bout Fatal Fury 2: The Newcomers and is definitely one of those characters who invokes the “we’ll bring everyone back” promise made by the development team. The studio also detailed a majority of the characters that will be added to the title in the back half of 2026.
After Strowd, another familiar face will return in the form of Duck King, September will bring another Taekwondo practitioner back into the fray, the patriarch of the Kim family, Kim Kapkwan. The antagonist of Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture will be canonized as Laocorn Gaudeamus debuts in November. October and December’s characters will be revealed at a later date.
To commemorate this news, SNK is offering a new SKU for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves digitally. Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Revenge Edition will bundle the base game and the first 3 seasons of content for the price of $49.99. Also for those who want characters piecemeal, you will be able to purchase characters individually when season 3 kicks off.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is available now on PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
