Excel in PGA 2K25 and score free food at Chipotle!

Here I thought Chipotle’s courtship of gamers would be exclusively within the realm of fighting games, but it seems the fast casual chain had other plans. Already the official Mexican restaurant of the PGA Tour, today will see their presence felt in the official game of the PGA, PGA Tour 2K25.

The game’s 7th season is kicking off today and players will be able to tackle quests such as “Fairway to Foil,” “Built Different,” and “Drive for the Double Protein”. Completing these events will net you rewards in-game as well as in real life. The in-game rewards include cosmetics as well as a putter dubbed the “Chi-Putt-Le” putter. The real world rewards include a free entree or free double protein at Chipotle locations. However don’t wait too long in your golf cart as there are 80,000 codes up for grabs!

I wonder what video game world will this purveyor of burritos and tacos pop up next, perhaps the final chapter of Final Fantasy VII (or will their loyalty to Cup Noodles remain steadfast), regardless it’s always good to see brands dip into video games, because to mis-reference another golf loving super athlete’s quote, Gamers buy burritos too!

PGA Tour 2K25 is available now on PC, Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X|S.
