It’s finally time for Backyard Baseball to take the field as the first new entry in the Backyard Sports games franchise is now available on PC, with a console roll out set for the near future.

The title will offer players a variety of play modes including a quick pick-up game to a more time consuming league mode. Difficulty modes which can accommodate newcomers or veterans of the original titles from the 90s. The game will also boast no microtransactions, meaning every piece of gated content can be unlocked via gameplay!

This is only the beginning as Playground Productions, the owner of the Backyard Sports franchise, is looking to build the “Backyardiverse” in hopes of endearing these characters to a brand new generation of kids.
