Mintrocket studio head Jaeho Hwang shares new details regarding Bancho the Chef during their Dev Dive video

We might’ve learned of the Dave the Diver prequel title Bancho the Chef at Sony’s State of Play early this month. Those hungry for more details didn’t have to wait too long as Mintrocket, the creator of the Dave the Diver franchise released a brand new Dev Dive video which touched on the various projects the studio is working on which includes the live action short, merch, a Godzilla mobile title and of course brand new details on Bancho the Chef.

In the showcase, Hwang detailed that Bancho the Chef will have the titular character travelling across Asia to soak in culinary knowledge. The game is set to appear on PC and the PlayStation 5, hoping to take advantage of the latter’s Dualsense Controllers to provide a near authentic cooking experience with its haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.

For those who haven’t seen the reveal trailer or the Dev Dive showcase, both are embedded below.

Bancho the Chef can be wishlisted on PC and PS5 and the title will reveal it’s release date sometime in the future.
