Just when I thought the Sonic Ice Cream Pop plushes was the strangest piece of Sonic the Hedgehog merchandise out there, license holder SEGA went and showed us that they’ve got plenty of room to get weirder. Today, the company revealed a collaboration with The Woobles. I’m sure many of you are google searching what The Woobles are and I’ll save you a search. It’s a product that seeks to introduce people young and old to the craft of crocheting.
Now you can craft your own woolly versions of Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and even the Chaos Emeralds. Each character kit will retail for roughly 40 dollars and there is a bundle which includes all 3 characters and a random Chaos Emerald kit which will save you some money when you buy the kits individually. Aesthetically these kits don’t look that bad although Tails looks a bit derpy. It’ll be interesting to see if other characters from Sonic the Hedgehog will get Woobles treatment (Who wouldn’t want a Charmy Bee Woobles Kit?).
You can purchase these kits on the Woobles website.
