Celebrate Sonic’s Birthday and support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in a special livestream on 6/23

In an image which looks like it was created by a pubescent teenager, SEGA has announced that they would be hosting a Birthday Live stream for their one and only mascot, Sonic the Hedgehog. Taking place on Tuesday June 23rd 2026 at 9:30am PST /12:30pm EST, Jacki Jing, GamesCage, and RogersBase will be joined by other prominent members of the Sonic Fandom to help celebrate the 35th birthday of the chili dog loving speedster.

The stream promises to offer gameplay, activities, music, and appearances from special guests. Somehow it will also serve as a charity fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
