Moss: The Forgotten Relic takes Quill’s grand adventure onto non-VR platforms this summer

The Moss VR game series (Moss: Book I & II) by development studio Polyarc was one of the most charming adventures available when released for a variety of headsets and hardware over the years. Now, the studio is taking Quill and her epic action-puzzle solving adventures to the flat world for pretty much all consoles and the PC sometime this summer.

Moss: The Forgotten Relic, which looks to combine the VR games into a non-VR adventure for the PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch 1|2, and from what we can see it still looks fabulous and as charming as ever, so players who did not dip their toe into the virtual reality journey can now appreciate the series.

Polyarc, a multi-award-winning independent game studio, today revealed a teaser trailer announcing Moss: The Forgotten Relic, a hand-crafted fantasy adventure that brings the critically acclaimed Moss franchise to PC and consoles. The game launches this summer on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 1|2.

Moss: The Forgotten Relic is an emotional and atmospheric adventure set in the pages of a living storybook, brimming with myth and ancient magic. Moss tells the tale of Quill, a young mouse with dreams of greatness beyond the confines of her home. Blending exploration, environmental puzzles, combat, and a heartfelt connection between player and hero, this fabled story invites players into a timeless fantasy adventure designed to stay with them long after the final page is turned.

The announcement trailer introduces Moss’ magical storybook world and offers a glimpse of its distinctive “Twofold” gameplay, where players not only control a tiny but determined hero on her heartfelt adventure but also directly interact with the world itself as her watchful guardian, the Reader.
