Holy Dated Reference Batman! This latest LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Dev Diary has us explore the “Crib” of the LEGO Dark Knight

LEGO Games really have stepped it up in the past couple of years and their upcoming LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is looking to continue the upward trend. In the latest Dev Diary we delved into the Batcave, the underground refuge of the Dark Knight when he is not patrolling the streets of Gotham.

Unlike other titles where the cave is purely set dressing, this game actually has you working on the construction of this domicile, allowing you to make it however you like. Be it a high tech space where crimes can be solved with expediency or it can be an arsenal which houses the numerous gadgets and vehicles which have been deployed by the cape crusader in the past.

And what a past it covers as we’ve seen the 66 Batmobile, the Tumbler from the Nolan films, suits galore such as the 89 Batsuit, the very recent Absolute Batman suit and the very out there Zur-En-Arrh suit. If you’re a long time Batman fan, this game will definitely have something for you!

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will launch on May 22nd, 2026 on PC, Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.
