We’re had plenty of opportunities to inhabit the Ninja Turtles in video games during the franchise’s 40+ year of existence, however I don’t think we’ve ever going to get as close as “being the Ninja Turtles” as we will in Cortopia Studios and Beyond Frames Entertainment’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City.
The game’s ramp up certainly has been increasing as the title saw a demo during Steam Next Fest, members of the press also got a taste during this year’s Games Developer Conference. For those yearning for the full experience it seems you won’t have to wait much longer as TMNT: Empire City will be coming out for select VR Headsets on April 30th.
Enter a New York City where the Shredder is no longer a figure of power. The Turtles are approached by Karai, the leader of the foot in Japan, seemingly requesting their assistance. Will the turtles aid this mysterious figure in getting the reins on the Foot in the city or will they do it alone and risk antagonizing this unknown quantity.
Pick up a slice and select your turtle when TMNT: Empire City arises from the sewers on Meta (Meta Quest 3S, Meta Quest 3, Meta Quest Pro), SteamVR (VALVE Index), or Pico (PICO 4 Ultra) on April 30th.
