In this new trailer, our hero Kunio begins his next battle following the events of the story laid out in 2022’s River City: Saga Three Kingdoms. After the Battle of Red Cliffs, the narrative makes a mad dash towards the climax of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms novel, the Battle of Wuzhang Plains, unfolding an alternative conclusion to the story arranged the River City way.

River City Saga: Three Kingdoms Next is the sequel game to 2022’s River City Saga: Three Kingdoms on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Steam, which brought players a unique experience set during China’s Three Kingdoms period and was based on the popular Downtown Special: River City Historical Drama! game. The game saw River City characters enter China’s Three Kingdoms period and take on roles set within the historical tale, “Romance of the Three Kingdoms.” The new sequel follows the wild antics of over 100 River City characters coming together, including an additional 25 main characters, where beloved River City ruffian Kunio takes on the role of the hero of the Three Kingdoms, Guan Yu, joining the hot-blooded battle over the nation.

River City fans are invited to jump back into the story on November 7 when River City Saga: Three Kingdoms Next releases for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Steam! Fans can follow the Arc System Works website and social channels for more announcements on the game.
