Sonic Frontiers speeds to consoles, PC for Holiday 2022

And The Sonic Cycle begins anew!   After the debut of a new Sonic the Hedgehog 2 movie trailer, in a somewhat surprise announcement, a brand new Sonic the Hedgehog game was revealed during The Game Awards 2021 last night.

Titled Sonic Frontiers, and in development by Sonic Team Japan, it looks like we’ll finally be getting that open world Sonic game we possibly always dreamed about in late 2022 for consoles and the PC.

Sonic fans, get ready to expand your horizons! Today, at The Game Awards 2021, SEGA unveiled Sonic Frontiers, the iconic franchise?s first ever open-zone-inspired gaming experience. The reveal was accompanied by an adrenaline-pumping trailer, giving Sonic fans a first look at the upcoming action-adventure title. Sonic Frontiers is planned to arrive on current and next-gen consoles in late 2022.
