Nintendo Switch Online memberships go live on September 18th, 2018

Well it’s official, the paid Nintendo Switch Online service will begin on September 18th, 2018 according to an announcement by the company this morning.

During tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct event there will apparently be more info regarding the service, although we do now know there will be a free 7 day trial available on the eShop. Either way, those with a Switch that continue to wan to play online after that point can pick up a subscription from Nintendo themselves or retailers including Amazon.
