Pata-pata Patapon: Remastered marching onto PS4 on August 1st

The amazingly fun Patapon is finally making the jump from the PSP to the PS4.

Just as Sony did for LocoRoco: Remastered (our recent review here), Patapon: Remastered’s catchy rhythm action appears to make a flawless, enhanced transition to the big screen. For those with a PS4 Pro, you’ll even get some super crisp, native 4K resolution.

Check out some new screens and whatnot, and start practicing your drumbeats.

Patapon: Remastered screens:

Patapon is a classic PlayStation game with innovative, rhythm-based 2D platform/action, now coming to PlayStation 4 with revitalized graphics output in 4K resolution and 1080p. Players are tasked with leading the colorful Patapons, a brave and noble tribe, through a series of epic battles against opposing armies and gigantic monsters. In a distinct gameplay twist, action and rhythm are intertwined as players utilize drumbeats to march, attack, and defend, ultimately leading the Patapon tribe to victory.
