PlayStation Plus subscriptions to increase on September 22nd

Stock up on those PlayStation Plus cards PlayStation players because the prices are officially increasing as of September 22nd.

So what will the damage be? Well for a full year, those who want to subscribe will need to plop down $59.99 USD/ $69.99 CAD, which is a $10 increase.  Those who subscribe in 3 month chunks will need to spend $24.99 USD/$29.99 CAD, which is a $7 increase, and crazy folks who pay monthly, will still only need to pony up $9.99… except in Canada where it jumps to $11.99 CAD.

So…. hop on over to your favorite retailer and stock up while you can (click here for Amazon).  Thankfully, subscriptions stack.

Read on for Sony’s official announcement.

Starting on September 22, 2016, prices for PlayStation Plus memberships will change to $59.99 USD/ $69.99 CAD for twelve months and $24.99 USD/$29.99 CAD for three months. The monthly plan will change to $11.99 CAD in Canada, and remain $9.99 USD in the U.S. If you are a current member, the new prices will take effect if your membership renews on or after this date.

PlayStation Plus strives to enrich your PlayStation experience through a world-class service built for our fans.
