Battleborn open beta begins for all platforms today

For all those potential Battleborn fans out there interested in taking Gearbox’s latest creation out for a spin, we have some good news for you.

2K this morning announced that the Battleborn open beta will be available for all platforms beginning today at 10am PT/1pm ET. There’s a pair of story missions to check out, and a pair of PvP multiplayer modes too. The beta starts players off with several playable characters, with even more available to be unlocked.  The open beta is scheduled to end on  April 18th at 7am PT/10am ET, so make sure to jump into the action before then.

Today, 2K and Gearbox Software announced that the Battleborn Open Beta is available today at 10:00am PT on all three platforms; PS4, PC and Xbox One.

The Battleborn Open Beta includes two full story episodes, ?The Algorithm,? and ?Void?s Edge,? which can be played in up to 5-player co-op, as well as two Competitive Multiplayer Modes: Incursion and Meltdown.

Open Beta Players will start with seven unlocked heroes, while others will unlock with from rank advancement and completing objectives, letting participants experience the natural progression of the game while unlocking heroes, skins, taunts, titles, and more. Additionally, by joining in the fight to save the last star in the universe, Open Beta players can earn exclusive skins from achieving group challenges.
