Tales from the Borderlands finale launching Oct 20th, Episode 1 now free

There’s some big news from Telltale Games this morning, and it’s not just about the confirmed release date for the finale of their Tales from the Borderlands episodic adventure series.

For those who have not yet checked out their enjoyable interpretation of Gearbox Software’s Borderlands, Telltale has announced that gamers can grab the very first episode, Zero Sum, for free on all platforms.

Of course they also want to let fans know that the fifth and final episode, The Vault of the Traveler, is set to be released on October 20th.

Today we are excited to announce that EPISODE ONE: ZERO SUM of the critically-acclaimed series, ‘Tales from the Borderlands’ is now COMPLETELY FREE to download on consoles and mobile devices.

Also in today’s trailer, we can give a sneak peek at the upcoming SEASON FINALE episode, ‘THE VAULT OF THE TRAVELER’ – which will premiere for download on October 20th for PC/Mac, PS4 and PS3; October 21st for Xbox One and Xbox 360; and on October 22nd on iOS and Android-based devices.
