Bandai Namco unleashes hard-rocking new One Piece: Burning Blood trailer

In case you haven’t been in the loop on this kinda thing lately, Bandai Namco’s next big One Piece title is the high octane fighter One Piece: Burning Blood.

The latest footage shows off some of the battle system along with the 3v3 melee and special abilities available to the familiar cast of characters.

One Piece: Burning Blood is headed to the PS4, Xbox One and PS Vita sometime in 2016.

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. the premier publisher of anime video games today released a new trailer for One Piece: Burning Blood. Sail the high seas and prepare for battle against the most colorful cast of pirates ever to be assembled for the PlayStation 4, XBOX ONE, and PlayStation Vita in 2016.

The new trailer highlights the game?s battle system, which allows players to select and switch between three characters including Luffy, Sabo, Ace, Bartolomeo, the newly announced Smoker, and many others from the One Piece universe. One Piece: Burning Blood also introduces an advanced battle system that incorporates unique elements from the One Piece world such as Devil Fruit abilities and Haki action techniques, allowing players to increase their attack power by using their unique abilities such as Logia Moves, Logia Guard, and Haki Blow. Players forming their pirate crew must take into account each character?s strengths and weaknesses before heading out and pummeling the competition.
