Destiny: The Taken King – Court of Oryx event livestream kicks off soon

In only two short weeks Bungie’s massive Destiny expansion, The Taken King, will go live, and the studio is still working overtime to show off some of the exciting new features and content contained within. That’s not even factoring in the Destiny 2.0 update scheduled to be pushed out in advance of TTK on 9/8/2015 with several game-changing updates of its own.

Today’s scheduled 11am PDT/2pm EDT Twitch livestream event for Destiny: The Taken King does a deep dive into the challenging Court of Oryx public event activities on the Dreadnaught. Trust us, it’s a little bit different than the traditional Defend the Warsat or Eliminate the Target events which pop up from time to time during other planetary patrols.

Stop by to watch the livestream live, or drop by later on to check out the archived stream.

Event details are as follows:

Join us for a live preview of Destiny’s newest gameplay experience: the Court of Oryx. Join Designer Ben Wommack, Community Ambassador Laced Up Lauren, and Special Guest Luke Smith as they reveal the secrets of this new activity, including:

  • How Guardians can instigate Public Event encounters
  • A sneak peek at the challenges and rewards available in the Court of Oryx
