As you can see from some of the latest screens below, players will be able to choose from several variations of both male and female versions of the main character, Jesse. From what we can see in the newly released media, there will be some skin tone and clothing options at the very least.
Telltale also confirmed a star studded voice cast including Ashley Johnson, Scott Porter, Martha Plimpton, Dave Fennoy, Corey Feldman, Billy West, and finally, Pee-wee Herman himself, Paul Reubens.

This weekend, fans at PAX Prime in Seattle are getting their hands on the very first playable beta of Minecraft: Story Mode… and we wanted to make sure we had something exciting to share with you too!
Today we can announce that Minecraft: Story Mode will be the first Telltale game series to feature a player character where YOU choose their appearance. Players will be able to select from several different options for both male and female versions of our hero Jesse.
The season will feature Patton Oswalt as male Jesse, Catherine Taber as female Jesse, Brian Posehn, Ashley Johnson, Scott Porter, Martha Plimpton, Dave Fennoy, Corey Feldman, Billy West, and Paul Reubens. Look for further casting details to come!
