Shenmue 3 has a Kickstarter

Sony continued to knock out major announcements this evening, following up the reveal of The Last Guardian and Final Fantasy VII Remake with this doozy, that Shenmue 3 now has an official Kickstarter that fans can back right now. As of this post, it’s right near the $1 million mark, and I suspect that it’ll surpass that before midnight without much trouble.

Shenmue creative visionary Yu Suzuki also came on stage for the reveal, which admittedly didn’t give much away, other than stressing that this is a true sequel and not some sort of spin-off.
