Rise of the Tomb Raider new trailer, official box art is found

The latest and greatest Tomb Raider, which is set to “launch exclusively” on the Xbox One this Holiday season, is officially stepping out of the shadows for fans to check out.

Rise of the Tomb Raider will surely be on display front and center during the E3, but today’s new trailer and box art more or less sets the stage.

In 2013, the reboot of the beloved Tomb Raider survival-adventure franchise wowed gamers everywhere. And in 2015, the long-awaited follow-up, Rise of the Tomb Raider, will launch exclusively on Xbox. Today?s new Rise of the Tomb Raider trailer offers a peek at protagonist Lara Croft?s newest adventure through treacherous and remote wilderness, as she embraces her inevitable destiny to become the ultimate Tomb Raider. The trailer showcases the spirit of adventure and discovery that drives Lara in this next chapter of her journey.

We also get our first glimpse at the game?s striking box art, which features Lara Croft embarking into an ancient secret tomb. Ready yourself for Rise of the Tomb Raider this holiday season and prepare for even more of the mystery, exploration, and adventure that drives this award-winning franchise.
