One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 sets sail for PS4, PS3, Vita in summer 2015

Ahoy! One Piece: Pirate Warriors fans, Bandai Namco has announced that the 3rd Pirate Warriors title is officially setting sail to North America for the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita.

The game isn’t scheduled to be released until summer 2015, but that didn’t stop the company from sending over the first batch of screens, a trailer and info for the game.

BANDAI NAMCO Games America Inc. announced today that ONE PIECE: PIRATE WARRIORS 3 will arrive in the Americas in summer 2015 for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 computer entertainment systems, PlayStation Vita handheld entertainment system, and STEAM.ONE PIECE: PIRATE WARRIORS 3 is the latest action game collaboration with KOEI TECMO Games that brings together all the whimsical and powerful characters from the ONE PIECE series for more unrestrained fighting action in true Dynasty Warriors style on the PlayStation 4 and STEAM for the very first time!

ONE PIECE: PIRATE WARRIORS 3 will take players through the original ONE PIECE storyline starting from Fushia Village, where Luffy first departs to chase his dreams of sailing to the Grand Line and becoming the Pirate King. Players will then recruit every member of the Straw Hat Crew and journey to the most emblematic places such as Marineford, Fishman Island, and Punk Hazard.

Along the way, players will encounter all their favorite ONE PIECE characters weaving through the story, such as Fujitora, Trafalgar Law, and even Luffy?s long-lost friend Sabo! Eventually, players will land in the kingdom of Dressrosa, a mysterious island dominated by the evil tyrant Donquixote Doflamingo, who is known as the ?Heavenly Demon.? The astounding and monstrous abilities possessed by both allies and foes will bring about the most colossal and groundbreaking ONE PIECE power clashes to be seen on video game consoles ever!
