Namco Bandai announced that their Dynasty Warriors take on the One Piece universe would be arriving via digital distribution to PS3’s Playstation Network on September 25th. Much like their release with Warriors Orochi 3, the game will not have a retail version available, but unlike Warriors Orochi 3, this is a PS3 exclusive release, with no Xbox 360 version announced. One Piece: Pirate Warriors is being developed by Omega Force, the leading team behind the Dynasty Warriors titles and franchise spin-offs.
Along with that, they’ve also announced that Thundercats will be release for the Nintendo DS on the same day. This is based on the revival cartoon of the 80’s hit, and developed by Aspect Digital Entertainment (Naruto Shippuden: Ninja Council 4 for DS).
No information on pricing just yet, but in the meantime check out a bevy of screenshots from the Thundercats game below, including the official press release.
