Mad Catz Ultra Street Fighter IV TE2 FightStick coming to PS4, PS3

Finally, PS4 owners will be able to get their hands on an officially licensed Street Fighter Mad Catz TE FightStick. Of course, we’re sure the announcement of Ultra Street Fighter IV and Street Fighter V for the PS4 helped out just a bit.

The Xbox 360 version (pictured above/below) is currently available for pre-order for $199.99, so we’re assuming the PS3/PS4 FightStick design will be quite similar.

Read on for the announcement.

Mad Catz Interactive, Inc. (?Mad Catz?) announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Capcom to produce the Ultra Street Fighter IV Arcade FightStick Tournament Edition 2, a Tournament Edition fighting game controller, ideal for competitive play.

The agreement gives Mad Catz the right to ship to multiple territories and release the FightStick for the PlayStation?4 and PlayStation 3 computer entertainment systems from Sony and for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft.

The Arcade FightStick Tournament Edition 2 features premium components and build quality, alongside a hinge-top design which provides easy internal access, allowing gamers to swap out artwork designs and internal components with ease.
?Our Tournament Edition 2 FightStick was warmly received when it launched alongside the Xbox One console in 2013 and we?re pleased to be able to introduce our next-generation fighting game controller to a greater audience of passionate gamers.? said Darren Richardson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mad Catz. ?Our FightStick business provides positive contribution to our growth, particularly in territories such as Asia where our presence continues to expand. We look forward to remaining leaders in this category throughout this new console cycle.?
