Pre-order Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 on PSN, get Mirror of Fate HD, Dynamic Theme for free

Pre-ordering digital games has always seemed a bit useless thanks to the relative lack of incentives offered and the pricing parity with retail releases.

But when publishers offers goodies like this, it makes it much more attractive. Konami has announced that those who pre-purchase the full digital version of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 on the PlayStation Store will get Castlevania: Lords of Shadow ? Mirror of Fate HD for free. They are also throwing in a Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 Dynamic Theme as well.

Read on for the announcement. Head on over here to pre-order Lords of Shadow 2 for the PS3 on the PS Store.

Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. is offering the full version of its acclaimed Castlevania: Lords of Shadow ? Mirror of Fate HD to those pre-ordering Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 via PlayStation Network. Fans who preorder will also receive the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 Dynamic Theme for free exclusively in North and South America.
Originally released last year, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow ? Mirror of Fate HD is a companion piece to the epic Lords of Shadow series, introducing Trevor and Simon Belmont to the canon. Mixing platform and action elements, Mirror of Fate HD follows Trevor as he storms Dracula?s castle, having pledged to end the Vampire?s unholy existence. Tragically, their fates are inextricably linked, culminating in an epic climax to be revealed in the forthcoming Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2.
Anyone pre-ordering the game digitally via PlayStation Network will automatically receive Mirror of Fate HD free, allowing fans to witness the introduction of key characters ? such as the mischievous Toymaker ? who returns to taunt Dracula in the long-awaited Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2. Fans who preorder will also be able to download and experience the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 Dynamic Theme for free. This special offer runs until the sequel?s launch on February 25th.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 drops Dracula into a modern day setting where he is charged with preventing Satan from bringing about the apocalypse. The new game boasts a fully-interactive city and castle environment, an adaptive weapon system, and an all-new fully-controllable camera delivering a deep adventure game with tons of depth.
A fitting conclusion to the stunning series, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 will be released on Playstation 3, PlayStation Network, Xbox 360, Xbox LIVE? Games on Demand, and Steam for PC on February 25th, 2014.
