Read through Satoru Iwata’s plan to save the Wii U

nintendo-logonintendo-logoLast night, Nintendo’s president, Satoru Iwata, briefed the world (and their investors), on their plans as a company moving forward. The Wii U, and the mistakes they have made, was a pretty big focus obviously.

The good news is that they realize that there’s a problem and are working on solutions to get the Wii U in more households and utilize the unique functionality of the console. The not-so-good news is that we’ll have to wait until May 2014 for Mario Kart 8.

There’s a lot to digest, from their desire to push into the “wellness” category, to NFC capabilities in the GamePad, so make sure to set aside some time to read through their briefing.
