Nintendo eShop going offline to fix connection problems

Frustrated with the Nintendo eShop issues that have cropped up since Christmas day? Well, you’re not the only one. Nintendo, in an effort to smooth out the online experience, will be taking the Nintendo eShop offline for 12 hours from 4pm today – 4am ET tomorrow morning. Hopefully when the network comes back up, it’ll be able to handle the increased traffic (and the Pokemon Bank).

Check out the announcement, first posted on Nintendo’s official Facebook page.
