New Xbox One details released at Gamescom

In case you were busy sleeping (like the rest of us), Microsoft released a nice batch of Xbox One info from Gamescom 2013 this morning. While they aren’t having a realy conference like Sony, they still wanted to get the word out.

The big announcements were tied in with exclusive content deals for games such as FIFA 14, The Divison and Call of Duty: Ghosts, and they also revealed the ID@Xbox independent developer program. Fable Legends was revealed too, as were some new pieces of Xbox One functionality. Euro pre-orders will also receive a digital copy of FIFA 14 bundled in (while supplies last?).

Today at gamescom, the world?s biggest gaming show in Cologne, Germany, the Xbox team shared a range of new announcements designed to show gaming fans why Xbox One will be the best place to play games this fall.

Following the presentation by Xbox VP?s Phil Harrison and Phil Spencer, the crowd was offered hands-on gameplay with hotly anticipated Xbox One blockbusters, including ?Forza Motorsport 5,? ?Ryse: Son of Rome,? ?Titanfall,? ?Kinect Sports Rivals? and ?Killer Instinct.?

At the Xbox Showcase event, Harrison and Spencer shared a range of announcements that showcased why the biggest blockbusters are better on Xbox One, including:
