It’s not often that Amazon themselves toots their own horn regarding pre-order records for videogames, but today the company wanted to do a little bragging.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II is now officially Amazon’s most pre-ordered game of all time… among all platforms. Not surprisingly, the previous record holder was CoD: Modern Warfare 3.
Maybe it had something to do with the various pre-order incentives that they have been running, which are also still in effect (check or link below) in case you were wondering.

This week, Call of Duty: Black Ops II broke Amazon?s record for most pre-ordered video game of all time (of any platform), shattering a record previously held by its predecessor Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The game will be released on November 13th; customers who pre-order the game from Amazon will receive an Amazon exclusive Kindle backstory, Rightful King, on villain Raul Menendez, the Nuketown 2025 bonus map and an Amazon exclusive Call of Duty: Black Ops II Wallpaper.
