Yakuza 1 & 2 HD Collection Announced for Japan

The previously rumored, and then revealed via Famitsu Yakuza 1 & 2 HD Collection now has a much more official trailer backing it up, along with some glimpses and comparisons of the game and its PS2 brethren via the Ryu Ga Gotoku website.

We don’t report often on Japanese only releases, but I’m so damn giddy that this thing is coming out that I’m just doing my part to spread the word, and hope that SEGA of America has something lined up if enough fans show interest. I’d be down for a PSN release even, so here’s hoping.
