Spirited new Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] screens

This morning, Square Enix released a new batch of screens for Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance], their anticipated upcoming Nintendo 3DS RPG.

This new batch of media shows off a variety of gameplay screens and some of the AR functionality, along with some art.

Take a look.

Spirits and Nightmares are two different types of Dream Eaters. Spirits accompany Riku and Sora during their journey to protect them from the evil spirits, or Nightmares.

Additionally, KINGDOM HEARTS 3D [Dream Drop Distance] utilizes the AR function of the Nintendo 3DS? system in which players can pet and feed the spirits, and play mini-games to improve the compatibility with the Spirits.

Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] will be available on the Nintendo 3DS in 2012.
