Powers Boothe, Shannyn Sossamon to lend their talents to Hitman: Absolution

Square Enix and IO Interactive this morning announced that they’ve secured some Hollywood talent to lend their voices and motion capture skills to the upcoming Hitman: Absolution.

Powers Boothe will play Benjamin Travis a new ICA handler character in the series and Shannyn Sossamon will play Jade.

Hitman: Absolution is scheduled for a 2012 release on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

Square Enix and IO Interactive today revealed Benjamin Travis, a new character in HITMAN: ABSOLUTION in the latest video from the ICA files series. The ICA (International Contract Agency) files are a series of videos that provide in-depth background information on the main cast in HITMAN: ABSOLUTION and feature exclusive art from comic artist Ben Oliver.

Benjamin Travis, a new ICA handler, is voiced by Powers Boothe, known for his roles in “Sin City” and “24.” Fans can meet the talent behind the new character in another video filmed on the set of HITMAN: ABSOLUTION during the performance capture sessions at Giant Studios. The video features Powers Boothe and Shannyn Sossamon (“A Knight’s Tale”), who take on the respective roles of Benjamin Travis and Jade in HITMAN: ABSOLUTION.
