Assassin’s Creed III announced for PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U


And just like that, Ubisoft officially reveals Assassin’s Creed III. The existence of the game was sorta leaked out last week thanks to retailer listings and box art, but the company has made it totally official.

Assassin’s Creeed III is coming and it’s taking us to a totally different setting and period of time, and it’s an interesting one… the American Revolutionary War set in the late 18th century. The new character is Ratohnhak?:ton, a Native American and English assassin.

Seven Ubisoft studios are working on the game with Ubisoft Montreal leading up the development.

Assassin?s Creed III is scheduled for a October 30th, 2012 release for the Xbox 360, PC and PS3, and it has also been confirmed that a Wii U version is in development.

For a limited time, those who pre-order the game will get a SteelBook case with art by Alex Ross.
