Nintendo of America’s rewards program has announced a major overhaul of its website and the introduction of downloadable games for loyal Nintendo fans. Now, Club Nintendo members who earn enough Coins can redeem them for select downloadable Wii and Nintendo 3DS games. The revamped site offers members a streamlined online experience and more exciting ways to redeem Coins.

Starting today, Club Nintendo members can exchange 100 Coins for Super Mario Kart and 150 Coins for Fluidity on the Wii console. Normally these games are offered at 800 Wii Points and 1,200 Wii Points respectively, making this new offer a great value for members. Club Nintendo members also have the option of exchanging 100 Coins for 3D Classics: Xevious and 150 Coins for Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again! for the Nintendo 3DS system. These two games normally sell for $5.99 and $7.99 respectively.

Members will notice the Club Nintendo website has been redesigned with a fun new look. In addition to new Coin-earning opportunities, Nintendo has added new Rewards, including Nintendo-themed notebooks and pen cases, plus a set of limited-edition posters honoring the 25th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda. Members can also now register select Nintendo 3DS games from third-party publishers, so there are even more ways to earn Coins.

The current round of downloadable game offers will remain available to members through Jan. 10, and new offers will be announced next month. Club Nintendo will choose new games based on members’ feedback on available downloadable games, so they can expect to find more fun surprises in the future. To collect even more Coins, members are encouraged to look back into their library of games for Wii and the Nintendo DS family of systems and register those products on Club Nintendo.
