Sony today has officially confirmed that in the very near future they’ll begin offering a new PlayStation Collections line of PS3 releases, which in one case, is bordering on being a multi-dimensional collection.
What have we done to deserve yet another super early PlayStation Store Update? Well, whatever the reason there is a pretty decent variety of content for everyone to check out.
The next couple of PlayStation Store updates are set to bring a nice selection of PlayStation Plus promotions for those who subscribe, including the first 2 episodes of Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead series for free.
Besides focusing on the games, SCEA made sure to mix in some new announcements for many of the products in the PlayStation Family, including the PlayStation Move, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, PlayStation Plus service, and the now renamed PlayStation Mobile program.
SCEA this morning announced what has been rumored (but pretty much confirmed) for weeks. PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is essentially Super Smash Bros. with PlayStation characters for the PS3, but fans won’t care much. Check out the first screens, video interview and details.
Next week’s PlayStation Store Update is looking mighty fine for PlayStation Plus subscribers, but this week is not so shabby either with The Walking Dead, Bejeweled 3, Darkstalkers 3, a Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds bundle, a PS Vita Skype app and more.
There’s a whole lot of PlayStation Plus goodness coming to the PlayStation Store in the very near future. Beginning on May 1st, subscribers will get free downloads of. several PSN games, PS one Classics and some great deals on full PS3 downloads. Check them out.
Another quite decent batch of PlayStation content in this week’s update, including several PS Vita trials/demos and a foursquare app, a couple of interesting new PS3 releases such as Killzone 3 Multiplayer and Storm, and a FIFA Street and MLB 2K12 demo. Sony this morning has finally announced some sales figures for the PlayStation Vita. Now that their powerful portable is available pretty much worldwide, the overall figure was revealed to be more than 1.2 million units sold.
As a PS Vita launch title, Little Deviants does have some endearing qualities, but the package as a whole leaves much to be desired.
