Sony last night announced the next PlayStation 3 System Software Update is about ready to roll out worldwide. With the news that the new and improved PS Store update has been delayed, at least PS3 owners get a little something new for time being.

The PlayStation Store update for this week is now live and as with some recent weeks, it’s packed with downloads and content for the PS3, PSN and PS Vita. Check it all out.
SCEE this morning sent out an announcement that the PlayStation 3 has officially topped 5 million units sold in the UK. That’s a pretty healthy milestone even if it may be a bit below what the company was hoping for at this point.
Another massive PlayStation Store Update is now live, with a duo of classic Sega console titles, a handful of new full PS3 games, some digital pre-orders and bundles a flood of PS one Classics for the Vita and more.
