A totally awesome update this week especially for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Awesomenauts and Trine 2 are free, along with 2 classic Castlevania games, a pair of minis and more. Regular PSN users have quite a lot as well.
Square Enix sent over a brand new batch of media that shows off a variety of gameplay screens, some of the AR functionality, along with some art. Take a look.
Once again we have a Friday Xbox Live Arcade Update, and once again, it’s a pretty big release. The Walking Dead is now available, the first episode at least, so make sure to check it out if you’re a fan of the TV series or Telltale’s games.
SCEA this morning announced what has been rumored (but pretty much confirmed) for weeks. PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is essentially Super Smash Bros. with PlayStation characters for the PS3, but fans won’t care much. Check out the first screens, video interview and details.

Nintendo today dropped a bit of a bomb with the announcement of a brand new Super Mario Bros. game scheduled to be released on the Nintendo 3DS later this summer. They also announced a Kirby compilation for the Wii, and a 3DS System Update that will provide new functionality and more.
Kratos is back! And he might not be quite as pissed as before, since like the PSP games, we will get a bit of the prequel treatment in God of War Ascension. Check out the teaser trailer.
If it were still April 1st, I’d almost think that this was an April Fools joke of some sort, but alas, it’s not. Namco Bandai today announced One Piece: Pirate Warriors for the PS3… which is exactly what it sounds like; the hit manga franchise mixed with crazy Dynasty Warriors-style gameplay.
It had to happen eventually… Namco Bandai today announced that Dragon Ball Z series will be getting Kinect-ified this Fall with the obviously titled Dragon Ball Z for Kinect. As long as it doesn’t have any horribly out of place fighting dance sequences, it could actually be halfway decent.
Finally, the long awaited Tekken Tag Tournament sequel is almost here. Well, it’s still a few months off, but at least it has an official relase date and a whopping 50+ characters to play as. Read on!
Konami today stealthily snuck over a selection of new shots of Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for the PS Vita. These updated screens showcase the intense action from both MGS2: Sons of Liberty and MGS3: Snake Eater.
It’s Spring Fever Part 4 on the PlayStation Store, with a nice amount of content and promotions all around. PS Plus subscribers get a whole bunch of goodies today, including Shank 2 and Shift 2 Unleashed. As for PSN games, Wheels of Destruction, I Am Alive and Price is Right Decades round out a pretty decent selection of downloadable titles.

SCEA is kicking off Spring with part 2 of their Spring Fever PSN lineup on the PlayStation Store. Rayman 3 HD for the PS3 is the big release, along with Sumioni: Demon Arts for the PS Vita. There are a number of sales on Final Fantasy titles and content, price updates and add-ons too.
