The MIX: Fall Online Showcase took place this week and one of the games featured is Retroware’s beat’em up featuring Troma Films’ favorite son and his friends…The Toxic Crusaders!
The four player beat’em is ostensibly going to be another season of the short lived cartoon which aired in the 90s and will have Toxie and his cohorts taking on polluting fiend, Dr. Killemoff. This new trailer features a lot more enemy variety then previous trailers and the demo. The most notable being the Chicken Zombie class of enemies (I guess, Poultrygeist was off the menu for this one?) and the clip caps off with a lot of bosses being highlighted…perhaps even all of them? Hopefully the team saved something for us to discover when the game eventually comes out.
Toxic Crusaders will be coming soon to PC and consoles.
