RGG Studio will share more details regarding Stranger than Heaven at their Tokyo Game Show 2026 Opening Night Livestream

If I was lazy, I probably would copy and paste the news post I wrote for Capcom’s TGS Livestream announcement and replace company/game names, but that would be efficient…and also lazy. Instead I’m gonna tell you that SEGA and RGG Studio are also having a livestream tomorrow morning (Nighttime where they are.) to showcase how development on Stranger than Heaven is coming.

The half-century spanning action title has certainly been in the news lately as it was revealed that it will become a live action movie coming to Netflix (Guess we’re abandoning Prime Video after the live action Like a Dragon series came and went), but tomorrow’s program will not focus on that, but rather the source material itself. The Stranger than Heaven | TGS Opening Night Livestream will focus on showing life and goings on in the following cities and timeframes, 1915 Fukuoka, 1929 Hiroshima, and 1943 Osaka, the showbiz management gameplay as well as tease what attendees can expect from the game’s TGS floor demo.

There’s no details regarding the livestream’s run time, but we do know it will air on Wednesday September 16th at 7am ET/4am PT.

Stranger than Heaven detail the origins on the Tojo Clan when it comes to PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 on January 17th, 2027.
