It all started because the acronym EVE Online’s latest update Cradle of War was C.O.W. now the developers at Fenris Creations have set up something very bovine. Emanating from a farm in Iceland, a real life cow dubbed “FC CapitalCowPilot” will pilot a Rorqual (an in-game mining ship) using buttons spread across their enclosure…so whatever the cow steps on goes.
All the action can be viewed on the team’s Twitch channel, but you can also fly alongside the cow’s ship in-game. In addition to this absurd act, there will be community goals which when met will help reveal details of the game’s upcoming update and studious viewers will be able to unlock cow print skins as well as a chat badge.
The stream is set to run for roughly 4-6 hours (I’m guessing they can’t make the cow work past the day time). So if you’re curious head over to Twitch ASAP!
EVE Online: Cradle of War is available now.
