One of the more unexpected game announcements we had in the last couple of years has got to be Samurai Pizza Cats: Blast from the Past. The team at Red Dune Games and Blast Zero has given players an update that they will be able to get their hands on the game at the former’s booth (Hall 7, Booth N03 ) at Tokyo Game Show later this month.
While the final product will be an ARPG, the demo will focus on the platforming that will be present in the game. The team also revealed that the game’s plot will be completely original and will not cover any plots used in the animated series (I mean the show wasn’t exactly a serialized show).
The press release which shared this news of the upcoming public demo also gave us an insight to how much reverence the team at Blast Zero has for the property and hopefully the released title will earn rave reviews from the Samurai Pizza Cats fandom.
If you’re attending Tokyo Game Show, I’d say don’t miss out to be amongst the first people to check out this title.
Samurai Pizza Cats: Blast from the Past can be wishlisted on Steam and Epic Games Store. Hopefully we will have full details on release platforms and release windows soon.
