Koei Tecmo Reveals Attack on Titan 3 release date & first look gameplay

Attack on Titan is back baby!  Koei Temco’s huge action game series, based on the best selling Attack on Titan manga and anime franchise (obviously), is getting a 3rd installment later this year for pretty much all consoles and the PC.

Today during the “Official Release Date Announcement Broadcast”, Omega Force and Koei Tecmo had quite a lot to show off and announce for Attack on Titan 3 in advance of the December 10th, 2026 release date that was revealed for the PS5, Xbox Series X, PC and Nintendo Switch 2.  The title will be made available in various editions, including a physical Steelbook launch edition with ICONART, a Digital Deluxe Edition with a digital artbook, a character customization pack, an original equipment pack, a starter item pack, and a 72-hour early access key.

But wait there’s more.  Those who pre-order will unlock “Wings of Freedom Earrings” or the “Wings of Freedom Hoodie” customization item depending on the edition, and fans who purchased Attack on Titan previously and have game saves will receive additional in-game bonuses which will be announced at a later date.

Attack on Titan 3 – Gameplay Reveal Trailer | Releasing 12/10/2026

Today, KOEI TECMO America and developer Omega Force announced that Attack on Titan 3, the latest instalment in the Attack on Titan action game series, will be released Dec. 10, 2026 for the PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™ 2, XBOX Series X|S and PC Windows via Steam®.

Attack on Titan 3 is the riveting culmination of Omega Force’s action game series, depicting the story of Attack on Titan from its survey corps beginnings to its dramatic conclusion. In this title, fans will dive into the action by taking on the role of a member of the Scout Regiment to relive the historical events that shaped the world alongside the iconic cast of Attack of Titan.

In addition to the standard edition available in digital and physical format, fans can pre-order a special Steelbook launch edition with ICONART on all physical platforms. A Digital Deluxe Edition is also available to pre-order, and features the base game, the Digital Artbook, a character customisation pack, an original equipment pack, a starter item pack, and a 72-hour Early Access key**.

Players who pre-order a digital copy of the game will receive the “Wings of Freedom Earrings” customization item as a digital pre-order bonus, while everyone who purchases a physical or digital copy of the game*** will receive the “Wings of Freedom Hoodie” customization item as an early purchase bonus.

All players with existing Attack on Titan 2 or Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle save data will receive additional in-game bonuses (saved data must be stored on the same console used to play Attack on Titan 3). More details will be shared at a later date.

Attack on Titan 3 is currently in development and is scheduled to release Dec. 10, 2026 on PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™ 2, XBOX Series X|S and PC Windows via Steam®. The game will include Japanese voices with texts in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish.
